Mandy Moon moved to Nashville to promote her new CD and career up there.  We’ll miss her – Good Luck Mandy!

Spring 2016 NEWS

Micah Scott (of the Killbillies) held a Tour Kick-off Party at the Tequesta Brewing Company June 17 and then hit the road for a nationwide tour. Here’s a link to his new CD “Dark Horse” on iTunes.


Bruja released a pretty cool promotional video – here’s a link to it!


Jason Montero launched a new website (www.jasonmontero.com of course!)- pretty cool pics, videos, music, the whole bit.


Mike Thomas joined County Line Road as their new lead guitar player.


Chloe Dolandis released a pretty good new song “Daylight”, and you can hear it HERE.


The Casey Raines Band posted three new songs: “Out in the Bayou”, “Fastest Girl by Miranda Lambert”, and “Live at Boonies”.  Watch the videos HERE!


Congratulations to Acoustic Soul on being named as a Finalist in the 2016 South Florida Folk Festival Singer-Songwriter competition!


Congratulations to the Ethan Parker Band for winning the Battle of the Bands at Lafayette’s!  They will be playing at Sunfest on Saturday in front of a huge crowd.  They beat some tough competition including Raggy Monster, The Metropolitan, Spred the Dub, Chemradery, and The Resolvers for this honor.


Acoustic duo Regi and Kimi released their first single.  It’s a catchy tune, and you can download and hear it here!


The Copper Tones will be releasing their first CD at The Funky Buddha in Boca on Saturday, March 26.  This “Soulgrass”, Funk, Jazz, Rock band hails from Ft. Lauderdale but plays in Palm Beach County, too.

The Cravens performed their pretty cool single What Would You Say for Balcony TV.  You may not recognize this band, but you’ll remember these dudes from other ones that have been playing in South Florida for awhile.

Public Sounds Collective launched a new website – very colorful like the band, with videos and a merchandise shop, too. Check out their site and get some ideas for yours!


Steve Minotti has taken over as host of the long-running Thursday evening Singer-Songwriter night at Tim Finnegan’s Irish Pub in Delray from Marie Nofsinger who moved away.


Mike Mineo released a new video that was entered into the NPR 2016 Tiny Desk Contest – it’s on the beach – where else for South Florida!?  Good Luck Mike!


Bill Hartmann is currently featured on BalconyTV performing his new holiday single Missing You at Christmas – very emotional and heartfelt as usual!  You can catch Bill at his Musician’s Showcase every Monday these days at 6:30 at The Living Room in Boynton Beach where he exposes us to new up and coming local talent and some old friends, too.  Watch for Bill’s next CD to come out later this year!


Max DuBose and the Scandalous Rogues released their debut CD called America.  You can hear it here at ReverbNation.


JP Soars and the Red Hots released another new album called “A Full Moon Night in Memphis”.  You can get it on their website, and also watch an excellent 5-minute documentary about JP Soars and winning the International Blues Challenge. Hey, if you like the Blues you’ll appreciate it even more!


JL Fulks, the young Blues picker from South Carolina, released a new single “You and I” that has “Hit Single!” written all over it.  Posted on his Facebook here and available in iTunes, Spotify, and Amazon.


The Birthday Candles are giving away copies of their new CD “Movements” at their CD Release Party at Propaganda! They’ll be partying it up and playing along with Howling Winds and ’84 Sheepdog on Friday, February 19.


Mylo Ranger has decided to call it quits.  Look for Myles Patrick (Lead Vocals, Rhythm Guitar), Jason Hester (Vocals, Percussion, Guitar), Davey Pitruzzello (Lead Guitar, Vocals), Bobby Humphreys (Bass), and Barron van Deusen (Harmonica and Vocals) to show up in other bands soon – they’re a talented bunch!  Their last show will be January 22 at The Funky Buddha in Boca.  Their Indie/American/Rock shows will be missed!


Mark Telesca is now competing in the International Blues Challenge!  He won the South Florida Blues competition for the privilege of representing us and we wish him well!  Here’s a link to a good story about Mark, his love of the Blues, and this quest of his.

Goodbye Girlfriend Material.  All good things must end?  Well Bryan Smith is moving to Los Angeles, so the other band members Mike McCleary, Tom Coughter, and Adam Piccoli will no longer be playing together as Girlfriend Material after the middle of January.  Head over to Maxi’s Lineup on January 14 for a going away party!


There’s a Dual CD Release Party at Propaganda on Friday! The Thieving Hand and Sunnyvale will both be releasing new CD’s on January 8.  “I See” Said the Blind Man is The Thieving Hand‘s 2nd release.  Paved is Sunnyvale‘s first.  $10 cover charge gets you both CD’s!


Jumbo Shrimp released their debut CD (called JUMBOshrimp, of course!).  You can get it on their website for only $7 bucks.


Chemradery, a busy South Florida pop/rock/soul band formed in 2014 released their first 4-song EP, available on iTunes. They also released a music video “Hard As You Can”, one of the songs on this EP.


Fourth Dimension is officially on “hiatus”.  They played reggae regularly at Deck 84 in Delray and throughout Broward County.  Former bass and lead vocal Jah Steve has formed a new band Jah Steve and the Counteract Crew.  Pierre Arnau and his keyboards, David Zeidell and his guitar and trumpet, and Akil Karam on drums are now the Big Harvest Band along with Carlos Calderon on bass.


High Tolerance launched a new website: www.hightolerancemusic.com


Army Gideon, a Reggae band playing mostly in the Ft. Lauderdale area, released Empress, a new single.  It’s available on iTunes, and a video of this song is due out soon as well.

2015 NEWS


Spechlis, an Americana/Country duo released a 3-song Holiday CD.


The Fireside Prophets released a new music video . . . “Nice Guy” . . . . and you can see it on their website.


Acoustic Soul released a promo video – 6 songs in 2 minutes – on their Facebook page for anyone who wants to see a sample of their pop/folk/soft rock show in action.


Sad News: Random Play is breaking up after a long successful run playing throughout Palm Beach County’s most popular venues.  Happy News: Their lead singer, Jenelle has formed a new band – the Jenelle Eve Band – and they will debut at Boston’s Jan 8!


Fonda Cash aka Fonda Watford – super talented West Palm Beach pop/rock/country singer and vocal instructor – released a new music video GOODBYE, and you can see it on her Facebook page.
