Welcome to LocalMusicFinders, your #1 source for
Palm Beach County Live Music information!
Live Music Calendars – Live Music Venues – Live Music News – Musician Info – it’s all here!
Live Music has been harder to find since the Covid-19 Virus started spreading earlier this year, but it’s still out there! Concert Venues and bars are still closed (as of mid September), but some solo acts, duos, and bands are still playing in restaurants and other venues serving food and we’ve even noticed a few free public events starting to show up on weekends. It’s hard to keep up with all the changes. Some bands called it quits, and some musicians moved away, but others are just getting started. We’ve also lost some music venues, but there’s even some new restaurants and brewhouses opening up and hiring bands!
Our Live Music scene sure is changing, but it’s not going away, so hang in there and look forward to better days ahead!

INHOUSE was one of West Palm Beach’s most popular Rock bands ever back in the day, and when they went their separate ways in 1999 they vowed to perform a reunion concert every 5 years. This year is their 20th anniversary, so the reunion concert is this Friday, Feb. 22 at 7 PM! This FREE concert will be held at the newly renovated Norton Museum.
Here’s a great article from The Florida Weekly about the band’s history. It’s great to see them back together, and to know their lead guitarist, Andy Stein, is still busy playing some amazing music locally as a solo artist, part of the Andy Stein & Mike Hill duo, and the String Fever band!
South Florida Garlic Fest
It’s a Music Fest, too! This weekend Saturday and Sunday in John Prince Park in Lake Worth. The Garlic Fest is 20 years old already, and getting bigger and better every year! Headliners are the MightyMighty BossTones tonight, and Steel Pulse tomorrow. Get there before 6 on Saturday and admission is only $12.
If that’s too $ steep, you can drive down to Boca for the Boca Seafood and Music Festival going on this weekend, too where tickets are only $5 bucks.
A New Live Music Joint in Delray!
Delray Beach just got a top of the line Live Music venue called the Tin Roof. They’ve got tasty food, Live Music every night, two bars, two stages and a beautiful patio right on Atlantic Avenue! Right now they’ve got a mixture of local talent and out of town up and coming bands.
They’ve got a lot of competition. There’s a ton of Live Music spots on Atlantic Avenue – our last count had 19 of them between Swinton Avenue and the ocean! Check out our Delray page to see a list of them. Let us know what you think of this place!
Lake Worth has done it again! This weekend is another ARToberfest – one of the coolest Music and Art event anywhere! 2 whole days of Live Music on many stages for FREE! Check out their amazing list of bands on their Facebook page, or on our Live Music Calendar, including The People Upstairs, Space Coast Ghosts, Steel Brothers Band, The Holidazed, SuperGold, Closer to the Ocean, Florida Euphoria, and Frequency on Saturday, and Only The Brave Band, Mr Do It and the Downtown Boyz, and Loyal to a Fault inside Prop for a small cover charge. Sunday’s bands include Franscene, The Zoo Peculiar, The Joey Tenuto Band, The Cravens, Vibes Farm, Forever Eric (Tribute – Eric Clapton), and Smiley Tunehead.
Also a dozen or so solo acts will be playing up and down J Street, and plenty of arts and craft vendors, food, movies, poetry, dancers, and a “pickers” jam will add to the fun!
sure looks like Eric – no?
Pink Floyd Tributes in South County!
Is Pink Floyd near the top of your list of best Rock bands in history? Then you might be interested in two tribute shows coming up in South County. On Saturday night October 13, FLOYD – A Tribute will be performing in Mizner Park, and lawn tickets are only twenty bucks! This 10-member band brings an impressive light show, multiple laser displays, and a video wall with them, and their shows usually sell out.
Then keep an eye out for Jerry Leeman’s “Dark Side of the Medizen” show (a Big Medizen production) coming up on November 1 at The Venu in Boynton! (SORRY – CANCELLED) Big Medizen is known for putting on elaborate, epic sell-out shows including The Last Waltz and Woodstock anniversary performances, and possibly a “Med Zeppelin” show in the works!
Rocktober in North County!
Hey you Rockers! Check these out for the first weekend in Rocktober:
Konnected gets this weekend started on Singer Island at the Seaside Bar and Grill. Saturday night you can Roll back and forth between the Sierra Band at Paddy Mac’s and NIXX at the Crazy Horse! And if you’re looking for something a little stronger, check out Dark Tranquility in concert at The Kelsey Theater playing along with three other Metal bands for only $22.
OK, maybe County music is more your thing. So you’ve got three class acts to pick from – the Andrew Morris Band Friday at Paddy Macs, Burnt Biscuit Saturday at Double Roads, and the Casey Raines Band Saturday at Tiki 52!
How about Grateful Dead Tribute Bands? There’s two good ones playing – check out out Live Music Calendar to see where!
If you still have some weekend left by Sunday, head up to Guanabanas for an all day Reggae Fest with 6 bands including Julian Marley for FREE!
So what do our favorite musicians do between gigs besides resting up for the net one? Some of them head out to a nearby JAM! They’re unpredictable with different players joining in, and a lot of fun for the musicians and audience. We try to post the best ones on our Live Music Calendars like these:
Monday Acoustic Jam at Double Roads in Jupiter gets the week started off right. Then on Tuesday it’s the Joey Tenuto Taco Jam at The Hive in Lantana, Piper’s Pro Jam in Greenacres, Open Jam at Rudy’s in Lake Worth, Jam Night at Avant in Delray, and Rockn’ Angels Rock Jam in Boca.
Wednesday it’s the All Request Jam at the Crazy Horse in Palm Beach Gardens, The Rosario-Craig Jam at Igot’s, and a long running Open Jam at Elmo’s in Boynton Beach. Then it’s the Weekend Eve Jam with Monique at Tim Finnegan’s in Delray. Friday and Saturday – no jams because all the musicians are working! Then on Sunday it’s the top rated Jupiter Jazz Society Jam at Double Road’s in Jupiter.
