About Our Mobile App (October 2023)
Our App is a special type of app called a Progressive Web App. It is NOT available on the Apple App Store or Google Play, and is only available on our website. It’s one of the improvements made possible by the generous support of many local musicians, bands, venues, and live music fans!
By downloading and adding it to your Home Screen you can easily access our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok in addition to our website calendars, and more. It saves time and is super handy while out club hopping to find where your next stop will be!
Downloading on Android Phones
Adding our App to Android (Google) devices is easy!
Just visit our website at www.localmusicfinders.com from your mobile device.
Look for a pop-up notification at the bottom of your screen.
Touch the Install button, and then on “Install” choice on the next screen.
In a few moments a notification will appear at the top confirming the installation.
To check, look in your list of apps for the purple music note. We suggest adding it to your Home screen!
Downloading on iPhones
Downloading on an iPhone is a little trickier. (Apple likes all apps on their devices to come from their App Store, and collect $ for each one.) Follow these steps to install:
Visit our website at www.localmusicfinders.com from your mobile device.
Look for a pop-up notification at the bottom of your screen that says “Install this LocalMusic Finders on your iPhone . . . and then Add to Home Screen“
Then touch the “Share” button at the bottom.
Then touch the Add to Home Screen” button that pops up.
To check, look in your list of apps for the purple music note. We suggest adding it to your Home screen!
Note: for some iPhones using browsers other than Apple’s Safari, like Google Chrome, Firefox, etc. the Share button might be located somewhere else, like maybe in the upper right menu bar. Look around for it! Also, if your connection is a little slow, it might take a minute or so for the app to download so be patient after hitting that Share button.
